Preserving the Past for the Future

The Flagg Creek Heritage Society is a Non-Profit Organization and an affiliate of the Pleasant Dale Park District. We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Flagg Creek area.

The Society operates the Flagg Creek Historical Museum and the Robert Vial House located on the grounds of the Pleasant Dale Park District at 7425 S. Wolf Rd., Burr Ridge IL, as well as hosting many programs throughout the year. Both the Museum and the Robert Vial House can be opened upon request. Groups are welcome. Our Mission Statement

To collect and preserve objects and information related to the history of the Flagg Creek area, as well as adjacent areas, and to share this information through displays, exhibits, lectures, publications and other educational programs.

  • Victorian Christmas Open House

    When: December 7th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM

    Where: The Robert Vial House, 7425 S. Wolf Rd., Burr Ridge IL

    Join us for our Victorian Christmas Open House. The house will be decked out in old fashioned finery and costumed docents will be on hand to welcome you. The parlor, with its beautiful tree, is a wonderful place for photos. Punch and cookies will be served in the dining room and children will be invited to make a craft to take home.
