Join author Joe Ziemba for a humorous look at the wacky early days of professional football, focusing on the NFL’s oldest franchise, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals. Relive the rowdy, formative years of football through audience interaction, rare archival photos, and surprising insight into local historical figures such as Red Grange, Time Thorpe, George Halas and Al Capone.

Join us for a century of life with a look back at what we wore, fun and games, technology, beauty, cooking, and inventions. How did they change and still stay the same?

This exhibit opens June 1st at the Robert Vial House and will be up through October 1.

THE POWER OF ADVERTISING

Coca Cola, McDonald’s, Campbell’s Soup have all put their marks on common household items. A look at advertising pieces will be on display at the Flagg Creek Museum starting April 1.

MILK GLASS

Come and enjoy our new display of frosty white milk glass dishes. Most of our new collection consists of cute Covered Animal Dishes, from dogs, cats, and hens to camels, frogs, and crawfish. Pieces will be on display through the summer at the Flagg Creek Museum.
